We have an Intervention/Enrichment block built into our daily ELA schedule. We put a high emphasis on those students who need extra help (Intervention). But, there are also students who need to be challenged. This is where these novel sets come in! We would like newer titles that will help these Enrichment students be able to practice higher-level skills while reading. These new titles will help to ensure that they will stay interested and continue to learn. These higher-level chapter books will help prepare our higher-level students for Third Grade! These novel sets will address the Second Grade standard of Literacy.RL.2.10.
