My plan is to use these materials in stations. Students will be using these materials individually or in small groups to team together to build a masterpiece with the Legos. I plan to integrate literacy with technology. For example: After reading the book Room on the Broom (around Halloween), students would be instructed to create a broom that the characters would be able to sit on comfortably together. My plan is to attach what the students construct to something needed in the books we read. Students would have an opportunity to not only work together, but to share how they constructed their masterpiece and how it will help the character(s) in the story.
