The film and video career field is exploding with opportunities. Unconventional camera equipment and basic operation can give students limitless employment opportunities. As filmography technology advances, allowing students to have experience with up-to-date camera equipment such as a drone will give students skills in filming, editing, and shot planning. Students will be able to have the freedom of creating high quality video and experience possible career paths. These resources will allow my students to film in ways they have never been able to before. Students will be gain real life experience creating drone footage and be able to edit in post to create amazing visual stories. 3.1.1 Select, operate, and exhibit correct use of video cameras for project specifications. 3.1.5 Demonstrate different shot compositions (e.g., medium shot, close up, long shot, etc.) 3.1.6 Demonstrate shot flow including sequencing and continuity 3.1.8 Connect various pieces of video equipment using the proper cables and/or adapters
