Fourth grade students are learning independence and self control. COVID-19 created uncertainty for students. This year we are working on gradually releasing responsibility to our students. Acquiring mice allows students to take charge of their learning and to make the choices that work best for them. Making presentations using a mouse makes it easier for them to navigate in Google Slides. The flexible seating will allow the students to work individually away from their desks and not be on the floor. Also, students that have trouble seeing the whiteboard can sit closer the whiteboard and still be comfortable.
