My students have exceptionalities that affect them every day in every way. Their exceptionalities can sometimes cause them to feel on edge and anxious when entering a rigid place like a school. I want to create a more comfortable environment to help my students feel more at ease and learn easier. I believe that flexible seating will benefit my students’ learning by putting them more at ease and more open to taking in new information. I believe that flexible seating helps school feel less intimidating to students with exceptionalities which will help them be able to retain more information.
