The hands-on solving equations classroom set will fulfill the following Nevada standards: 6.EE.B.7 and 7.EE.A.1. The dry erase double-sided boards will help with all Nevada Math standards. Students will be able to visually see how to solve equations which is crucial to their learning. The students will use the manipulatives to add 2 or subtract 2 from each side to show the balancing of the equations. The dry erase boards will be used to help me know if the students understand the concept without having to be next to them which will prevent the spread of COVID-19. Each student will be given a dry erase marker to eliminate the need for sharing.
