My students like to feel proud of their work-every detail is precise and defined. With every literature reading, there are a number of ways for students to connect to their readings through their creations. This project includes quality materials that my students appreciate having access to while they work; additionally, it includes items that will help enhance the working environment with flexible seating options to help them collaborate and focus. Lastly, there is video and sound equipment to help create lecture videos for students to access while I am out or for them to use to create their own learning tools. Some resources such as video equipment, speaker, flexible seating, and large sticky notes will benefit students with a collaborative learning environment and discourse. CCSS. ELA Speaking and Listening 9-10 1, 4, 5. Some resources such and highlighters and pens will support student engagement through annotative reading. CCSS. ELA Reading Information and Literature 9-10 1,2,4,5. Other resources such as the poster board and markers will benefit students with analyzing texts and creating meaningful connections which can be shared with peers. CCSS. ELA Reading Literature 1, 3, 9. CCSS. As writing is a constant focus, all material will be able to benefit students through the writing process. From collaboration after an annotative read to peer reviews and presentations, these tools will be in constant use. CCSS.ELA Writing 1, 2, 3, 5, 9.
