I teach twenty-six first grade students at Washington Elementary School in the Normandy Schools Collaborative in St. Louis, Missouri. Each of my students is unique and I enjoy getting to know them as people and as scholars. Every day, my students amaze me with their thinking, creativity and unique and wonderful personalities. As first-graders, my students are learning everything from what elementary school is all about to social skills to important content area skills. So many things are new them, so I try to bring them as many resources as I can to meet their needs in a variety of areas. My students love to use new tools and materials to practice and show off their skills. They are eager to learn and so proud when they learn something new. I appreciate every donation made to my classroom and in support of my wonderful students. We make the most of every item gifted to us by generous donors on Donors Choose.
