After nearly two years in online learning, we are so happy to have students back in the physical classroom. While we all worked as hard as we could in the virtual space, there were still elements that we missed out on due to being behind a screen. Communication, social skills, teamwork, and perseverance are just a few of the things that are difficult to practice during distance learning. Now that we are back in the physical classroom, the games in this project will help my students develop their communication skills, reasoning, and the ability to work together. The paper, laminating sheets, and storage bins will help get the new games organized and protected. I'm so excited to be able to offer my students tangible tools to help facilitate learning about their emotions and how to handle them. These life skills will be with them their entire lives.
