Our classroom is set up with bamboo bulletins in hope to promote a calm learning atmosphere. During the pandemic, we have a unique situation in the classroom and need to space out accordingly. We no longer have a large area rug to use during reading workshop. Having a yoga mat will give the students a comfortable place to read in the room. Due to our numbers, we will rotate who gets to use the mats. They are easy to clean and store. The flashlights are a fun addition to our workshop and the students can use these to read. I'm so excited to add these materials to our classroom and have some zen during these chaotic times.
