These materials will give my students the opportunity to get familiar with technology that they might not have at home. Since tests like the SBAC and MAP tests are on computers, these laptops will give my students the ability to become familiar with technology before they take these tests. Furthermore, with our district transitioning into 21st century learning practices, these laptops will give my students the ability to research specific topics they are researching. On top of this, these laptops would be resources for me to use if we ever transitioned back to distance learning. Not all of my students have access to technology at home, and these laptops would be used for students who need them during distance learning so they can continue their education.
