An iPad and document camera will provide me with resources and techniques to reach my students more effectively during our online lessons. With these items, I will be able to provide rigorous lessons which will help engage my students in the areas of math, science, reading, and social/independent living skills. These items will help me teach multiple modalities of learning that are present in our virtual classroom. Both the iPad and the document camera will allow me to teach interactive lessons in math where I can model how to draw and write graphs, number lines, and problem solving scenarios. This has been difficult to do with a touchpad on the computer. I'll be able to focus on providing quality instruction without spending unnecessary time taking pictures or screen shots of content and uploading those images to slides.
