Putting audience focus on the puppet instead of the student is a great way to build confidence in our students and allows them to take calculated risks with their voices to create characters that they might never come up with if they were standing in front of a crowd. A Karaoke speaker machine will be used for small stage performances. Whiteboards are used daily in my classroom and the Expo markers will be used with those whiteboards. The flag memory game and Spanish Bingo game with help with learning about the Hispanic culture and the Spanish speaking countries. The emotion mats will help students express how they are feeling. Having laminating sheets will help to extend the use of these games and activities. This meets the Nevada Academic Content Standards for World Languages Standard1: Interpersonal Communication: Standard6: Making Connections: Standard7: Acquiring Information and Diverse Perspectives:
