Students this year are experiencing social/emotional anxiety coming back into the classroom after a year of many being virtual. I asked my civics students to identify a issue they see at school that needs to be addressed. They have asked for a safe place to help cope when they need a moment. Others have asked that sanitation be stepped up again, in addition to masks. In order to fulfill these requests, they will need Clorox wipes, stress balls, a scream pillow, and an inflatable punching bag. Hopefully, this project will help meet these students' needs and help them cope with another abnormal school year as it is inspired by their concerns.

About my class
