For many young ladies, the only path to college is through high school sports. The best way for high schoolers to perfect their skills is by using new, up to date equipment which is in good repair. Often times, the girls sports are overlooked as they are not the income generators that boys football or boys basket ball are. However, getting to college, and also enjoying themselves during their high school years, is as important for young women as it is for young men. Many of the students who attend Basic High School come from depressed or under served areas and school sports are the only way for them to help lift themselves up out of poverty.
