This project aligns with the Nevada Academic Content Standards for Health Education, specifically the strand on "Mental and Emotional Health". Standard 1.ME.HS.2- Analyze the ways to decrease the risk of self-injurious or suicidal behaviors. Students will create their own mental health tool kit to have at home to give them coping skills to deal with anxiety, stress, and depression that will decrease the risk of self-injurious or suicidal behaviors. This kit will help their social emotional well-being at home and at school which will increase their learning and positive behaviors.

About my class
