This project will make a difference in the my 21-22 students lives, but to all my future first grade students as well. These materials will expose my students to the other amazing cultures around them. My favorite part of my school is that it is very diverse and I want to teach them at a young age to embrace everyone’s differences. My students know that my favorite word is “unique” and this project will give them opportunities through read aloud books to discover what else is out there and explore other student’s uniqueness.
