The items I have chosen are sturdy and encourage these skills. They provide learning opportunities for children who are challenged by disabilities so they can learn and grow. My students are working hard to improve their pre academic, social and communication skills, so they can experience success in the general education environment, their homes and the community. I have seen how toys positively affect my students communication and social skills to help them grow and experience success each and every day. Sturdy toys that will last are so important to create a safe learning environment that encourages this success.
