Students in my class are at a disadvantage by not having access to a whiteboard or using big-screen technology. Many students are visually stimulated in learning. They need examples and manipulatives to work with for retention support. The document camera will help my class see examples by projecting strategies that stemmed from lessons that set the bar for their lifelong learning. The camera will offer them a view of much-needed information on the screen of their computers. We will utilize stimulating material to help students that are visual learners. I will use manipulates and show students how to use arrays, add double digits, and set the foundation to learn multiplication. Students will see how varying strategies need to be used.
