The games, balance kits, leveled texts, and other materials will allow students to get out of their seats and take control of the learning themselves. Hands-on manipulatives will not only engage the students but will allow them to get a visual of what they are learning. I hope that it will reinforce the subject areas that seem to cause the most trouble every year. I believe my students will benefit from being able to see the math along with writing and hearing it. Math is a subject where many people struggle and I hope to grab their attention and possibly excite them.
