Through these books, students will be able to experience different cultures with the simple task of opening a book. They will have a deeper understanding of grade-level TEKS through engagement read-aloud lessons. These books will enhance my reading lessons and engage and motivate students to read books from different cultures and genres. By donating to our project, you will give my students the experience of traveling around the world, without leaving their hometown. The flashlights will be used to motivate students to read by "shining their light" into the books.
