Flexible seating is a wonderful way to encourage students to read in the classroom. I have seen through experience that flexible seating can be a wonderful incentive for students to encourage reading and literacy skills. Flexible seating would also be a wonderful way for my students to work around the room in partners in a non-traditional way. Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to make a choice about their learning and how they learn best. I have seen first hand how impactful flexible seating can be for students. This allows students the ability to have autonomy over how they learn.
