My students will use these books in novel studies to learn about character traits, themes, and plots. These students are eager to get their hands on books, but it is challenging as a teacher to ensure enough copies for everyone when we are on such a strict budget. These students thrive when they are able to read together! Students that may not be strong readers are influenced by peers and end up enjoying the stories. These students often end up as avid readers themselves. These books will help me inspire a love of reading in my students.
