Flexible seating offers students an opportunity to not be confined to a desk all day. It empowers them to create an environment that is best for their learning style. Having options for students who struggle in a normal classroom environment helps them feel in control while allowing them to feel successful with classwork. The pillows, rugs, and surf desks options I have chosen will allow that flexibility and provide them with a choice. Being able to provide that for my students will help create a better learning environment for them that they can be proud of!
