Due to the pandemic a lot of the students are behind on reading and bot on reading level. These books will help me spark interest amongst my students to read more and be able to let them take home books to read. I expect them to all be fluent readers by the end of the year. I want them to fall in love with reading by creating a classroom library that feels welcoming and fun. Books have the potential of increasing student motivation, engagement, and help them become critical thinkers, analytical readers, and informed citizens.

About my class
