An iPad in the classroom would support the students in the classroom with special needs. Some of the students struggle with attending for longer lengths of time than their peers. An iPad can provide positive reinforcement for completion of work or time on task. Students will be given time to work on the iPad with access to developmentally appropriate content programing on a school supported program called iready. Access to an iPad would also increase the students knowledge of the first grade computer science standards including being able to operate an appropriate device.

About my class
