During at-home learning, my students quickly became proficient in all sorts of digital learning platforms. Learning through a computer allowed their natural technological tendencies and creativity to shine in ways I never thought possible pre-pandemic. Now we are back at school full-time, providing some technology in the classroom to stoke that creativity is important. These Chromebooks would allow my students who need extra support the ability to use the speech-to-text option for writing assignments, my curious students to get just one more piece of evidence to support their thinking, and my creative students to produce media presentations rather than a typical paper and pencil project.
