I will use the Boogie Board writing tablets as a way to do a quick check for understanding of individual student learning. At times, as I am teaching, I will ask students to do some problems on their own and then hold up their tablets so I can see who understands the concepts and who still needs more individual help. This is also how I will lead review assignments as students are studying and preparing for exams. Not only will this help use less paper in class, but it will allow me different ways to work one on one with students, and really see what they know rather than asking them to self disclose about their learning, and about their level of mastery.
