Because of the pandemic, students had to stay home or didn't have a chance to go on field trips. VR will allow students to have a virtual field trip to any destination from across the world. Also, it will enable teachers to meet the needs of diverse students, especially visual learners. Students see the things they're learning and explore the topic instead of just reading about them. Virtual reality allows students to learn about a subject by living it and helps students learn complex subjects, boosting learning and retention. As an educator, I want to transform learning and teaching by embracing technology and my students to acquire 21st-century skills. Therefore, I will significantly benefit from adopting virtual reality technology in my classrooms. Additionally, headphones and VR headsets will promote the Nevada Academic Content Standards such as P1.2, P1.4, and ISTE standards, including 1.6.a, 1.6.c, 1.7.a, 1.7.d, 2.4.c.
