All of the items were chosen with the needs of my students in mind. The materials will be used to help my students develop skills that will help them calm themselves and cope with obstacles. The Zones of Regulations materials will help them understand their feelings and how to deal with difficult situations. The books will provide them an opportunity to enjoy what they enjoy reading and to escape tough situations. Some of the books will let them read about people like themselves. Students will be growing where they are temporarily planted, in our alternative program.
