These books will build literacy skills in my first graders. These books will be at different reading levels to fit every students' needs. We concentrate on reading and foundational skills needed to read and decode fiction and nonfiction stories. A variety of books will create a fondness of reading and help them to be life long learners. These books will be used in small reading groups to address the individual needs of each student. With your support, these books will be used this year and for many more years to come.
