We have a wonderful kiln at our school that has not been used in years. Help us bring back a ceramic program to Mack! We already have the know how, and now we just need help with the supplies to kick start our projects. Students love creating ceramics, especially during the holiday season to create gifts for their loved ones that they are excited to give. The students will learn pinch pots, coils and slab creations. They will be creating a luminary slab project which will hold a candle to really light up their beautiful hard work. Visual Art Standard: Cr2.7.1 Demonstrate persistence in developing skills with various materials, methods, and approaches in creating works of art or design.
