I am new at this elementary school but I have been a counselor for 18years. This year, creating social emotional learning lessons is also new because of our new technology and distance learners! I would like to create google classroom lessons about emotional regulation for student in school and at home for quarantine. The green screen will add dynamic background's to my lessons and the tools and books I picked out will be the focus of the lessons and give the students hands on calming tools for their big emotions. We have a new way of teaching and I want to look professional and capture the students attention with new technology tools. The manipulatives will be used in my office for helping students self regulate. The books will be read and recorded for teachers to use if they need to address a certain topic in their classroom. I will read each book and upload the content to my Counseling classroom so any teacher or online student can access the lessons anytime.
