The products I have selected will help the students who cannot afford to purchase kits for their Senior Cosmetology program. Students use these tools and materials in the classroom when learning a task, at home when practicing their skills on friends and family, or on the job when they are hired for an entry level assistant position in a Salon. My students who take this course are funded through their High School and therefore do not need tuition to attend. Many families are not in good financial situations, so here at my school we are looking for new ways to help these students reach their goals and become employable. New York State requires 1000 hours of instruction for students to obtain a Cosmetology license. Students graduate, take a written and practical test, and come out of high school with a profession!
