The Saving/Spending Financial Literacy Kit would greatly benefit my students by providing the materials needed to aid them in developing financial literacy. It would also create a foundation that would assist them in improving their scientific understanding of food groups and how the body needs different food groups to grow strong. There are major benefits in developing financial literacy early in students and what better way to make math intervention engaging and fun for these struggling students? By allowing them to recognize the value of money while learning core math concepts in the process, they will gain an understanding of how important budgeting can be and how important it can be to provide for one's family.

About my class
