These materials will address the Nevada content standards MATH 7.EE.A.1, MATH 7.EE.A.2, and MATH 7.EE.A.4 in 7th grade that covers Expressions and Equations. The materials chosen will assist students in learning the algebraic processes, procedures, and steps in a more visual construct. The ability to see the math as it happens makes for a more enjoyable and interactive lesson for the students and helps bridge the gap in student skills. These materials will assist students who have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as many of them have not attended school in almost 2 years. The ability to teach students mathematical concepts through visual, hands-on lessons like these dry-erase boards, styluses, and resources from Teachers Pay Teachers is paramount to student success and achievement in the coming years.
