Differentiated stations are geared towards the level that the students are currently on and help to extend their knowledge. Having these supplies like markers, glue sticks, paper and Teachers Pay Teachers resources, will help with room transformations. For example, we recently performed “surgery” in our Order of Operations operating room where the kids wore gloves and scrub caps and used their whiteboards and expo markers in each of the “operating rooms”. We have the game show Survivor-themed competitions using whiteboards and expo markers to earn points for their tribe to win prizes at the end of each 9 weeks. The students thrive using these different learning tools.
