Throughout this pandemic many students struggled and were not given the proper introduction into education. Several of my students had never stepped foot onto a school campus before this school year. While these kids were at home, many were not exposed to printed text, which has led to students not developing a love for reading at all. Having these books will help develop skills and light that spark for reading. The iPad is a wonderful opportunity for my students to test their reading comprehension and gain confidence in their abilities. Using these resources will assist my students to build their self-esteem and harness their love of reading. Not only will these resources help my students today, but they will also help my students for years to come. After the struggle of online learning, we can finally begin to bridge the gaps!
