Many students are coming to 2nd grade without knowing how to read yet. They left the buildings for the pandemic when they were in kindergarten! We don't have their level of books in our room so they can't close their gap. I want to do guided reading with the kids using books at their reading levels. I only have 2nd grade books in my classroom and need others to reach those students who are not reading on level yet. Please help me build a library of books to use with students with special needs.
