These resources will support Nevada Academic Content Standards 1.ME.K.1, 1ME.K.2 and 1.PCE.K.1 and fulfill a need in our community. Our grade level will use these materials to support our students with social emotion learning. We will create "calming corners" in our classrooms and use the picture books to teach social and emotional skills. The materials purchased will help our students become better citizens in our community and will help them learn to work together and manage their emotions. Now more than ever, our students need support in how to manage emotions and work together appropriately.
