The large chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons, and interactive writing experiences where students can "share the pen" and co-create text with the teacher. The donations to this project will help to improve our students' understanding of the foundational skills in literacy in an authentic, meaningful, and highly engaging way, and help young students see the connection between reading, writing and speaking. By co-creating large charts, our students will begin to see themselves as writers and the shared charts will become a resource around the room to support learning throughout the year. The one pack of chart paper provided in the school budget is never enough and our whole team is already out of chart paper. We truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
