Planning for our daily lessons require me, as the teacher, to access multiple modes of technology, online documents, take attendance, read and send emails to and from families and access other apps regularly to track my students' goals. My current teacher desktop is 12 years old and the efficiency of my time to meet my students needs is being taken away by an ancient desktop. Does this desktop still work? Yes, but would be much more wisely used to assist my students in their everyday activities of taking Accelerated Reader tests, access their OneDrive to type documents and looking up information on topics they want to research. A new desktop in our classroom will allow me to access the multiple apps and email on a much quicker basis and allow me the time to do what I do best - teach!
