Our grade level has been using articles from past issues of Storyworks magazine as supplementary text for years. The articles provide insight into wildlife, agriculture, and historical events that give background to the project-based learning we do. Unfortunately, students are not able to hold their own copies of the magazine in order to locate details, examine pictures, or complete some of the other activities contained in the magazines. With your donation, students will be able to keep this information with them at their desks, and then be able to take them home to continue practicing their reading. Many of our students often talk about not having reading material at home.
