I started my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the midst of a pandemic. My first two years consisted of tele-therapy and virtual materials to support my student's speech and language skills. Since all of the students in my caseload receive special education services, this has been a particularly hard time for them. But, now we are back face to face! It is time to start building my materials and gathering items that are rich in vocabulary and functional language. Items such as the WH Bingo Game and Zingo will engage the students while increasing their communication skills at the same time. It is my hope that with more games, books, and flashcards in my therapy room I can give my students the services they deserve. Now that we are back together and not interacting through a screen, it is time to give my students the best chance they can have at making progress in their ability to communicate with their friends, family, and teachers.
