Many students love playing with LEGOs but do not have them at home. Legos are a great way for students to connect with each other and teachers. Many of the students I work with have difficulty with social skills. Students can work in groups on common projects to build those skills. LEGOs are a great way for students to be creative and express themselves with a project they have created. I have had students in the past who were shy and quiet who came out of their shells with LEGOs and similar toys.
