Studies show that when students simply read more, their writing improves, along with their performance across content areas. What gets in the way of this is access to literature that peaks their interest to start a love for reading. Having access in their classroom to books students enjoy will show them that our schools care about them and their future. These texts will be lent to students so they can continue their learning at home, as well in the classroom. It is a tremendous accomplishment to finish a book for the first time.

About my class
