Autism is a neurological disorder that affects the way some people communicate, process, and behave. Sensory processing is one of the many challenges my students struggle with. Through this project I hope to provide my students with the opportunity to work through their sensory processing needs and self-regulate with the help of these products. "Fair isn't everybody getting the same thing. Fair is everybody getting what they need to be successful". We plan to use these products as rewards, motivators, and interventions to help my students maintain stable functioning throughout the day. These items will help my kids be able to attend to tasks, work through task completion, and overall have success throughout the school day!
