The students will use the dry erase markers and whiteboards every day. In this classroom, we work together, and students help their peers during guided practice. Students will use the whiteboards when I check for understanding during a lesson and as an exit ticket before leaving class. This will help me monitor my students' learning. The bingo chips will be used as a reward when they perform well on a test. My students are part of the Dual Immersion program; therefore, we incorporate traditional games such as Loteria. Loteria is a Mexican card game, and students play it only on Fridays after they have performed well on a test. This motivates my students to try their best on the test and continues promoting diversity within our students. Also, my students have been working together to make posters to review for a test. They work to answer comprehension questions, which they write on the posters and later present to the class. This helps them collaborate with their peers by helping each other. By donating to our project, you are not only helping my students stay engaged and improving their academic achievement, but you are valuing diversity and helping my students connect to their culture.
