The students who will be using this equipment have difficulty initiating play with peers. The equipment will be used to practice social play skills with students of all ability levels. Teachers will monitor and coach appropriate social interactions such as initiating play with a friend, solving conflicts, and knowing body boundaries. Play is the work of children. It is the most authentic learning device. I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities for personal growth in each of our students. I know the students will enjoy this opportunity. Thank you!
