At our school, we offer enrichment classes on Fridays for elective credit. A colleague and I would like to teach, "Building Stuff." This class would use CTE equipment, history, Minecraft, and hopefully with your help, Legos. These classes are meant to provided experiences to develop social-emotional learning and provide positive hobbies to at-risk students. The lesson plans will include learning about a history and geography and then building those places out of Legos, using Legos to create models for Minecraft or CTE creations, or using Legos to practice social emotional learning.
